Mission Statement

The mission of The Dayson Diamond Youth Foundation is to reduce delinquency in the youths of Mecklenburg County by providing opportunities to express themselves through creative arts such as traditional art, music, and dance. This will channel negative energy into positive energy while minimizing cycles of risk to include gang prevention, youth incarceration, teen pregnancy, etc. Our objective is to allow our youth to become involved in a variety of creative arts that will help to build their social skills, self-esteem, educational competency, and confidence. Our main focus is to build rewarding lives and promote positive change in our communities.
